 Accreditation: This course has been accredited with 16 CPD units from the British Academy of Audiology.
Through our Flexible Credit Accumulation scheme, completion of this course will also provide you with 20 credits towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology (60 credits), the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (120 credits) and the full MSc in Rehabilitation Studies (180 credits in total).

About the course

This two-and-a half day course investigates some of the varied models and theoretical constructs underpinning rehabilitation and their relationship to professional practice.  It is aimed at practitioners who wish to develop their knowledge in the field of rehabilitation. The course comprises the following workshops:

  • Workshop 1: An introduction to key theories and an exploration of their application to clinical practice
  • Workshop 2: An exploration of concepts around patient centred care and evaluation of care
  • Workshop 3: Discussions focussed around case studies and student presentations.
