SESSION 4: What is HE for?

AHUA members have always had strong and clear views on the purpose and mission of HE. In the past year this has become a very prominent, politically contested issue. At the time of the conference, politicians will be pre-occupied with being (re-) elected. So we have asked people who aim to fashion the political environment in which politicians operate (and who sometimes write their speeches) to look far and wide from their very different perspectives at what they think HE, is or should be, for.
