As well as entertainment, the Guild offers a range of practical and support services.These facilities are designed uniquely for students, and are either subsidised or offer low student prices.
The Loft
The Loft is our recently revamped, £200,000 social and study space. There’s an open area with plenty of comfy sofas, where you can meet friends and course mates, and also a quieter study area. The Loft is also home to an IT suite with PCs, and plenty of power points for laptops.

Some of our services are run directly by students and trained staff, who are always friendly and happy to help. If you want to get involved, the Guild will provide all necessary training and support.
As you would expect from an organisation run by students for students, any surplus revenue generated is invested back into improving facilities and welfare provision.
