Representatives of Aston University attend many local and national Higher Education fairs and conventions. Many of these events are part of the "UCAS Education Conventions" network of conventions, organised in conjunction with HELOA and UCAS. The Conventions present the opportunity for students, parents and teachers to talk to a representative from Aston about our various degree programmes, the University and Higher Education in general. Visitors can also expect to find at least 50 and often as many as 130 other Universities, Colleges and relevant organisations to be present.

The 2011 Birmingham convention was held at Aston University over two days to meet the demand from West Midlands Schools and Colleges. Around 140 Exhibitors (Universities, Colleges and other relevant organisations), 13,400 visitors and 147 schools/colleges attended the 2011 event at Aston, and feedback from Schools, exhibitors and visitors has been excellent.
