The Placement Team will give you all the support and advice you need to find a suitable placement and will keep in touch with you during the year make sure everything is going well.
We have developed relationships with a large number of organisations and each year we advertise a wide variety of placements to students via our website, Aston Futures.

The Aston Careers and Employability Centre also provides a wide range of information and services to support students seeking a
placement. During the autumn term, a placement fair is organised on campus so that you can network with employers
and find out more about placement opportunities.
Applying for placements
The application process for a placement is similar to applying for a graduate job, so is an excellent experience in itself. You will be supported throughout the application process, with CV workshops, practice interviews, practice psychometric tests and one-to-one expert careers advice sessions.

During your placement
You will be assigned a placement tutor who will visit you part-way through your placement to discuss your work and progress and to and meet your manager.
The Placement Team are available throughout the year to keep you in touch with the University.
