Mature Students Welcome Induction
Make new friends, get to know the uni and get a head start on your studies!
Every year we hold a Mature Students Welcome Induction. The induction, organised and hosted by the Learner Enhancement Team , is an opportunity to visit the uni before term starts, resolve any worries, develop your study skills and help you to make the most of your time with us.
The Welcome Induction includes:
- Study skills sessions
- Social activities

Campus tours given by existing students
- Q+A with current students
- Library induction
- Lunch served everyday
The perfect opportunity to talk to both new and existing mature students in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Mature Students' Lunch
Every year a Mature Students' Lunch takes place. It is a great opportunity to meet other mature students over an informal lunch! As a mature student, you are welcome to come along and ask current students and the Learner Enhancement Team any questions you may have about life here at Aston!
