Mature Students Welcome Induction 

Make new friends, get to know the uni and get a head start on your studies!

Every year we hold a Mature Students Welcome Induction. The induction, organised and hosted by the Learner Enhancement Team , is an opportunity to visit the uni before term starts, resolve any worries, develop your study skills and help you to make the most of your time with us.

if you are a mature student that has either applied or is in the process of applying for a place at Aston University to start in October 2013 then you will be invited to attend the induction once your place has been offered and accepted. 

The last Mature Students Induction took place in September 2012, received very positive feedback and included the following:

  • Study skills sessions
  • Social activities
  • Campus tours given by existing students
  • Q+A with current students
  • Lunch served everyday

  • The perfect opportunity to talk to both new and existing mature students in a relaxed and friendly environment.
