Undergraduate optometry courses

Optometry
The School of Life and Health Sciences offers the following undergraduate optometry courses:
  • BSc in Optometry/MOptom - Our Optometry course is highly ranked for student satisfaction. It provides you with the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills needed to become a qualified optometrist.  

    We also offer our students the opportunity to continue with further study if they wish leading to the MOptom.

     
  • Graduate Diploma in Optometry - This programme is designed for Optometry graduates who do not achieve the grades required for automatic progression onto the UK pre-registration period. It can also be taken by practitioners whose certificate of clinical competence has expired.
