Applying to Aston University

Applications for all of our Undergraduate programmes should be made through UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). The UCAS scheme covers all full-time courses (including those with placement years) leading to a first degree or diploma at university or college in the UK.

Course details for all institutions in UCAS, including information on entry requirements and UCAS codes are available on the UCAS website.

UCAS

If your school, college or careers centre is registered with UCAS, you can apply through them, but if not you can apply directly on the UCAS website.

If you have difficulty using the website, contact the UCAS's Customer Service team.

University and course codes

Our UCAS code is ASTON A80 and this should be entered clearly on your application form. The UCAS code for each of our degree courses is listed on the course webpage, in our prospectus and on the UCAS website.

It's essential that you enter the correct code(s) for the courses you wish to apply for to avoid delay in your application. Please use the UCAS website to check that you have entered the correct information on your UCAS form.

When to apply

Applications for courses starting in Autumn 2010 have been open since September 2009. Remember that the last date for the receipt of applications, to qualify for full and equal treatment, is 15th January 2010. 

For international students, the date for full and equal treatment is 30th June 2010. It is, however, best to apply as early as possible, especially for high demand programmes.

Late applications for 2010 entry

Although you should make every effort to let us have your application by 15 January 2010, (30th June 2010 for International students) we are still able to consider applications throughout the year. More information on late applications will be available in January.
