Accreditation of training

You may be interested in seeking University recognition or accreditation for your existing work-based training , or working with us to develop bespoke programmes.

Having your organisation's training accredited by Aston University brings numerous advantages:

  • a better trained and more adaptable workforce, with up-to-date knowledge and skills

  • increased employee motivation and retention

  • external verification of the quality of training, drawing upon national benchmarks
  • increased rigour in the design and benefits analysis of your training
  • opening up Higher Education progression opportunities for employees
  • being able to provide clients with evidence of the professional competence of your staff

How does it work?

During an initial consultation we will work with you to scope the possibilities for accreditation, identifying both the level and credit rating of the learning and training. Following that, work can be started on putting the formal accreditation process into action.

During the accreditation process we'll work with you to:

  • clarify the desired outcomes of training

  • design appropriate ways to gather evidence, capturing how the learning has been usefully applied

  • identify and track tangible improvements in commercial performance

Aston University is a member of the Employer Based Training Accreditation (EBTA) code of practice established by Foundation Degree Forward.
