The Postgraduate Certificate consists of 60 credits over 4 modules. Credits will count towards the MSc Islamic Banking and Finance (180 credits over 8 modules and a dissertation) if the candidate wishes to continue.

For International Students:

  • Students whose native language is not English will also need to satisfy our English language requirements Pre-sessional English language programmes are available for good applicants whose English qualification falls just short of these requirements.

Learning, teaching & assessment

The programme is taught through a range of learning methods – media-based interactive methods as well as lectures and group learning. To provide additional industry insight some sessions are delivered by professionals from this business sector. Taught modules are assessed by examinations and coursework.

The Certificate is available on a part time basis on campus (two modules per term) or through online learning (two modules per term).
