Birmingham

Birmingham as the seventh most cost-effective student city, out of 27
cites in the UK. The survey took into account the cost of rent, going
out, food shopping and more.The Good Pub Guide 2009, rated the cost of
a pint in the West Midlands as "extraordinarily cheap"!
On campus
With all University facilities on campus, and Birmingham city centre just five minutes walk away, you can save money on travel.
Our accommodation and other costs are also low compared to many other UK
Universities. For example, Aston’s 39-40 week campus accommodation contracts
(September-June) are £600 - £1,500 per
year cheaper than many other UK Universities, some of whom charge rent for 45-52
weeks of the year.
