The 2011 Pure Potential Summer Conferences have now all taken place.
2011 partners were: Aston University; Imperial College, London; London School of Economics; University of Manchester; Newcastle University; University College, London and University of Southampton.
Pure Potential Conferences are divided into two parts: -
Higher Education Workshop - this covers the benefits of Higher Education; how to choose a course; student finance and a talk about studying at Aston.
Career Workshops - students attend two workshops run by some of the world’s leading graduate employers representing areas such as medicine, teaching, law and retail. Students will learn more about their chosen industry, what “a day in the life” is like and how to get their foot in the door.
There will also be plenary sessions covering communication skills and how to write a personal statement.
Details of the 2012 Conferences will be published on the Pure Potential website in early 2012.
