Places are still available on our 2013 Masterclass Programme. Details of sessions on which we still have places available can be found here. Please note this only shows available Masterclasses. Details of our full Masterclass programme can be found in the Sixth Form Enrichment Guide above but many sessions are already fully booked.
As part of the Aimhigher initiative, Aston University is providing a series of Masterclasses in a range of subject areas, aimed at Year 12-13 students (e.g. first-second year of A Levels). The aim of Aston’s Masterclass programme is to enhance and enrich current Sixth Form level studies by providing stimulating lectures and workshops from Aston University academics at the forefront of their subject area.
To book places please use our Sixth Form Enrichment Application form. Please note that a maximum of 15 places can be booked per school on any one Masterclass in the first instance.
Please note that we have a cancellation policy for all Sixth Form events at Aston as follows: A cancellation fee of £15 per student will be charged for all events if cancellation notice is not given at least two weeks prior to the event, or if attendance on the day falls below 75% of the number of places booked.

Important notice for any schools attending the 'Using DNA & detection to identify cancer' Biology Masterclass: In order to ensure your students are fully prepared for the session we recommend you download the following presentation and show it to your students prior to their visit.
Interactive Languages Weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd March 2013. This interactive languages event provides an excellent opportunity for students currently studying French, German or Spanish at A level. Further information can be found here. 'How to get to the Bar' on Saturday 22nd September 2012 for students who will be in Year 13/Year 2 in September 2012 and are considering pursuing a career in Law. This Conference, run in association with Aston Law, St Philips Chambers and the Bar Council is aimed at students at state school or college and expecting to achieve ABB at A level. Aston University Inaugural lectures celebrate and showcase the research expertise of the University's newly appointed professors across a diverse range of topics throughout the academic year.
