As part of the Aimhigher initiative, Aston University is providing a series of Masterclasses in a range of subject areas, aimed at Year 12-13 students (e.g. first-second year of A Levels). The aim of Aston’s Masterclass programme is to enhance and enrich current Sixth Form level studies by providing stimulating lectures and workshops from Aston University academics at the forefront of their subject area.

Aston is a lead partner in the West Midlands Gifted and Talented Excellence Hub and organises a number of stimulating events each year aimed at Gifted and Talented Students.
Interactive Languages Weekend on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March 2012. This interactive languages event provides an excellent opportunity for students currently studying French, German or Spanish at A level. Further information can be found here. Each applicant must fill out their own application form and return it to Angela Morris.
