Campus tours and independent visits

In addition to our general Open Days, you are welcome to visit Aston University at other times.

Please note: if you apply to Aston and are offered a place, you will have be invited to a subject-specific Applicant Open Day between November and March

Informal Campus Tours 
We offer Informal Campus Tours at various times during the year. Campus Tours are given by current Aston students. You will have the opportunity to see our accommodation and academic, sporting and social facilities, followed by a chance to meet Schools and Colleges Liaison/Admissions staff who will answer any general queries that you may have.

Please note that tours do not include tours of academic departments, although we do normally arrange question and answer sessions with Admissions Tutors to discuss general admissions and course queries.

Following the tours which took place during the October half-term, there are no further campus tours scheduled to take place at this stage. Please see below for information on taking a self-guided tour around the University.

Looking around the campus independently
If we do not have any tours available which you can attend, we do have a self-guided campus and city tour leaflet – so you can take a look around the campus on your own. The Schools and Colleges Liaison Office at Aston can provide the tour leaflet, prospectuses, course brochures and offer general advice about the University.  

We are located on the Floor 2 of the South Wing. Our receptionist in the Main Building will be happy to show you the way or may be able to provide you with the information you need.

Please note that new facilities are currently being built on campus.  Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and observe any no entry or diversion signs.

When to visit

It is usually best to visit us during office hours on a weekday. The University campus is open at weekends/evenings, but many buildings and facilities are only accessible to our students and staff at these times.
