In addition to our General Open Days, visits to Aston University are also welcome at other times. For example, we host a number of informal campus tours for individual potential applicants throughout the year, as well as opportunities to look around campus on your own with our self guided campus tour.
Informal Tours
We will be holding some Informal Campus Tours over the Easter break 2010 on the following dates:

The tours will begin at 12.30, and will last for approximately 2 ½ hours. They will include a brief Welcome Talk, followed by an optional tour of the campus and accommodation, and a question and answer session with some of the admissions staff for the subject that you are interested in. Remember, All UCAS applicants who receive offers from us are invited to attend a Post Application Open Day, which take place between November 2009 and March 2010.These days will give you in depth information about the course that you wish to study, as well as a campus and accommodation tour. The post-application open days are organised by the schools of study, who will invite you along should you be offered a place at Aston. Please contact the Admissions Tutor for your course if you have not yet received an invite.
We have a self guided campus and city tour leaflet – so prospective students and their parents etc are able to take a look around the campus on their own. The Schools and Colleges Liaison Office at Aston can give out self guided tour sheets, prospectuses, course brochures and offer general advice. We are located on the Floor 2 of the South Wing, Main Building, just above the main reception of the University in the Main Building. You are welcome to come in and see us during normal office hours or contact us (below) for further information.
The Aston University campus is of course also open at weekends/evenings although many buildings and facilities are only open to our students/staff so have restricted visitor access at these times. If you would like a copy of the self-guided tour sheet then you can either pick one up when you arrive at the University, or e-mail us l.whittaker1@aston.ac.uk with your name and full postal address (including postcode), and we can get one sent through to you. You can also telephone us on 0121 204 4772. Please let us know if you intend to visit at weekends so we can inform our security office and can send you details of weekend parking arrangements.
