For over 20 years Aston has consistently featured in the top 10 UK Universities for graduate employability

The employability of our graduates, and their continuing success, is of huge importance to us. It is a reason many students come to Aston University.  

• Ranked 5th in the UK and 1st outside London for graduate employability - beating Oxbridge (2012 Sunday Times University Guide).

• Aston is consistently placed in the UK's top 10 for Graduate Prospects. (HESA and Sunday Times University Guide). 

• Top 10 UK universities for producing millionaires.

 Placement years 

• Highest percentage of students taking a placement year or year abroad (HESA PI data 2010 and 2011).
• Over a third of our placement students are offered graduate jobs by their placement employer.

• Ranked in the top 20 UK Universities most likely to be targeted by the UK’s top graduate recruiters (2010-11 High Flyers survey).
