How did you get started?
We started fresh out
of university in Summer of 2007. We are based in North London. We started off
selling high end media PCs and bespoke PCs to clients but at the fall of the
recession realized that this wasn't feasible for us with limited capital. Hence
we dove in to the support and service side of IT consulting.
Through offering
remote services and one-to-one support services to the public we have managed
to make a local name for our selves in this area. We really focus our business
around exceptional customer service. We know our industry isn't highly
regulated and people in this country especially are not as well educated when
it comes computers and fixing problems. We want to help people as well as grow
our business nationally.
How has your time at Aston helped you and your business?
My placement year was
a big eye opener for me and helped me to realize that there is a big gap in the
market when it comes to offering PC Services whether its business or personal
customers. I grew confidence from lecturers too such as Dr Alan Eardley.
How is the business going and how are you finding being an entrepreneur?
We have been running
for almost 5 years now and we are slowly growing faster. We have a shop,
advertising campaign and many revenue avenues. And we have build a strong brand
in the PC Surgeon which we have registered with the IPO.
