Types of Accommodation

On campus at Aston we have fantastic accommodation, with self-catering flats in a choice of locations. There are four types of accommodation available: New Residences en-suite five bedroom units, New Residences en-suite seven bedroom units, Lakeside en-suite and standard accommodation in Stafford Tower.

Our safe, secure on campus accommodation has plenty of benefits with prices from just £68.00 per week, which includes all utility costs and communal cleaning charges, so budgeting is easy. All our accommodation is situated on Aston’s unique, leafy, city-centre campus: an oasis of calm in the middle of Birmingham.

New Residences en-suite (5 bedroom units £119.00 per week and 7 bedroom units £109.00 peer week)

This exciting new development will see the construction of 2400 brand-new en-suite study bedrooms; some of which will be available for occupation in 2010/11. This new student accommodation will be unrivalled in quality, environmental performance, and style.

There will be a number of rooms available in the first phase of our new development, for the 2010/11 residential year. The accommodation will consist of five bedroom and seven bedroom ensuite units with shared kitchen facilities. This accommodation will set new standards enabling students to enjoy the best in city centre, on campus living, complementing the vision of one of the UK's top ranking universities.

Lakeside en-suite (£98.00 per week)

There are 647 rooms in Lakeside. If privacy is important to you, Lakeside’s en-suite rooms provide it, with your own shower, toilet and wash basin. There are telephone and television points in each bedroom. Students share kitchen facilities.

Standard Rooms in Stafford Tower (£68.00 per week)

355 High-rise standard rooms with washbasins are available in Stafford Tower. Flats are shared between nine students who share kitchen and bathroom facilities.

There are a number of rooms adapted for students with special needs and these are situated in Lakeside and the New Residences.
