One of the important aspects of living on campus is safety and security for our students, staff and visitors. Security staff are available 24 hours a day to assist and help reduce the fear of crime along with protecting student and University assets, safeguarding personal property and individuals.

Be vigilant and always keep your windows and bedroom door locked. Keep your valuables out of sight and do not leave your belongings unattended.

Incident management is important when maintaining a safe and secure campus. We have sophisticated on-line reporting system in place to continually monitor and improve an already effective service.

Get to know your neighbours and flatmates. If you are concerned about a possible intruder, someone in your flat or a guest of your flatmates, contact Security immediately.
