How to apply for on campus accommodation

Applicants 2011/12 can still apply for accommodation using the 2011/12 on line application form 

New Applicants 2012/13 can apply for accommodation from 14th March 2012. To apply for University accommodation, please complete the on-line application form 2012/13.  Application forms must be returned as soon as you have accepted an unconditional or conditional offer.

Once we receive your application for accommodation and your offer changes from Conditional Firm to Unconditional Firm, an accommodation offer will be sent to you.

If we make you an accommodation offer, you need to accept or reject it by the deadline stated. Demand for accommodation is high and rooms are quickly re-offered if responses and deposit payments are not received by the acceptance date.

If you reject the accommodation offer made to you, we will be unable to offer you an alternative room.

By now you should have completed your application and have received an offer of accommodation from the Accommodation Office. You need to accept the offer and pay the deposit of £200.00 to secure your accommodation by the deadline stated on the offer letter. This is important as it guarantees that your University accommodation is available when you arrive. If you do not accept the offer and make the deposit payment by the date stated on your offer of accommodation, your place could be allocated to another student.

All offers for University residences are made for a full residential year only. The residential year and the academic year are not the same.
