We understand that friends and family of students could be concerned about their welfare, and in the interests of respecting student privacy and following the guidelines of the Data Protection Act, we are unable to discuss your concerns without their express permission. We will not give out student addresses, or telephone numbers but will pass a message to the student if you are concerned and ask him/her to contact you.

Don't worry! Students at Aston generally settle in very quickly and get involved with various social activities and societies. We are here to help them adjust to university life, but many genuinely forget to phone home as they're just enjoying their time on campus.

Parents/Guardians should note that the residence Licence Agreement is made between Aston University and the student in residence. It is therefore not possible to discuss any issue relating to this Licence Agreement with any third party, regardless of
who actually pays the rent.
