By 2015 the city will have a £600million redeveloped transport hub in New Street station, a £65million runway extension at Birmingham Airport, the largest public library in the UK and High Speed Rail is expected to be on the statute books. Added to this, major retail investments including a £100million John Lewis store and a planned £120million leisure and entertainment complex at the NEC, and 2015 is set to be a significant year for Birmingham.
Birmingham is a city with ambition, drive, energy and ideas – and as its plans for 2015 show, it is now one of the most attractive cities in Europe to do business. There are many reasons to believe in Birmingham’s success and its plans for the future and that means more reason to study at Aston and be in the heart of something special.
