The University is embarking on phase two of its student residences project, with the construction of circa 1050 additional
en-suite study bedrooms due for completion in 2013. Existing standard accommodation blocks will be demolished and the nature and extent of the work will inevitably generate some noise and vibration. Contractors will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any noise and/or vibration is kept to a level that is reasonable and that minimisation techniques appropriate to the project are deployed wherever possible, to limit where reasonably practicable, disruption to resident students. Students should avail themselves of study facilities available in the University, for example, the Library should noise or vibration be a problem.

In view of the above, you are fully aware and accept that there will be some noise disruption on campus until phase two of the new development is completed.

Term Time Accommodation Offers
Offers of accommodation will be sent to the email address you provide on your application form. Generally, you will not
receive anything relating to accommodation via post.

You have 7 days from the date we make the offer to accept and make the deposit payment via the on-line booking system. (The number of days for accepting offers will decrease as we get nearer the start of term).

You need to be aware and accept that if we make you an offer of a room and you reject that offer, we may be unable to offer you an alternative room.
    
Offer letter, and Identification (I.D) - New Students Only   
You need to ensure that you bring a copy of your offer letter, and some form of Identification with you when you arrive.

Summer Vacation/Pre-Sessional Accommodation Offers
You are fully aware and accept that:

• We cannot guarantee your first choice accommodation.
• We cannot guarantee single sex accommodation.
• Medical notes, Special needs and Religious needs do not guarantee your first choice accommodation.  
• We cannot guarantee to allocate you to your term time room for the Summer Vacation period.
• We may not be able to allocate you to the room you are currently living in.
  Once you have accepted the offer and the total amount due has been paid, that there is no refund if you vacate earlier than your original required dates or change your mind.
• Offers of accommodation will be sent to the email address you provide on your application form.
