ESRC prizes for early career researchers 

The 2010 Michael Young Prize promotes excellence in the social sciences by rewarding the very best new researchers whose research has the potential to make a positive and far-reaching impact beyond academia. Closing date 31 July 2009

The Neville Butler Memorial Prize aims to celebrate new researchers whose work comprises of longitudinal research than contributes to knowledge in a significant way, but also had evident social value and public relevance.
