University Fire Safety Adviser
My role as Fire Safety Adviser is to give advice on all
matters concerning fire, and fire safety; to investigate the cause of
any outbreak of fire, and develop strategies to prevent any reoccurrence
within Aston University.
I will be assisting the University in developing new
fire strategies and procedures to reduce the risk of fire, and comply
with any changes in legislation or hazards within the University as far
as reasonably practicable. I will determine, monitor and review
compliance with current relevant fire legislation.
I am a member of the Health and Safety Committee, and also of the Health and Safety Audit Group.
