Staff Volunteering Challenge - Wednesday 2nd May 2012
Working in partnership with The Waterways Trust, British Waterways and CSV Environment, Aston University staff, will be renovating a stretch of canal less than half a mile off campus. In addition to clearing the canal and surrounding areas of debris, work will include planting shrubs and climbing plants to screen walls in an effort to deter graffiti artists, installing benches, and painting of moorings and lock mechanisms.
This is an all day challenge, with refreshments and lunch provided, Due to the close proximity to campus, we will be walking to the site.
