New cutting edge seminar series

The Centre for Project Management Practice (CPMP) is offering a series of thought leader seminar sessions throughout the year focusing on different aspects of project management.

The first in the series is entitled, Global Projects – The ‘virtual’ and ‘cross-cultural’ double whammy, took place at Aston Business School on 23rd April. Anyone who has managed a global project team knows the impact of trying to communicate virtually and across cultures. This seminar combined the perspectives of seasoned project professionals and extensive reviews of best practice (from DHL Exel Supply Chain and Ideal Standard) and research to provide attendees with a range of tools and techniques to improve the way they communicate.

Other seminars scheduled for the year include: Managing relations, PMBoK – to be or not to be, and Good behaviours in projects.
