Last Thursday (16 September) The Hub was officially opened by the Vice-Chancellor.
The Hub provides access to Aston’s Student Support Services and combines the services previously offered by the Guild’s Advice & Representation Centre and those offered by the Aston Student Advice Point, as well as allowing access to student support services such as Registry, Credit Control, DANU, and International Student Advisers.
The Vice Chancellor commented on the importance of the student experience at Aston and commended the student focussed nature of The Hub saying “I am confident that this year’s students will receive an outstanding service and most importantly will feel that we genuinely care about their issues and concerns, and find appropriate solutions for them and with them."
The Hub is situated on the ground floor of the Main Building, just off the Upper Foyer.
