Just a note to say thank you to all staff for their support on delivering/ organising sessions and staffing information stands for the Open Day held last week.
Initial anecdotal feedback from visitors has been extremely good so far and we have captured many hundreds of registration forms. 1613 Individual registration forms were handed in/completed on the day from prospective students, with total visitor numbers (parents etc) this year totalling over 3500 (based on the number of guests indicated on registration forms).
We have written to all registered students with a web feedback form and an invite to keep in touch with Aston University. Schools and departments can also have access to these names for your own marketing and mailing purposes if required. Students have ticked the programme areas they are interested in on their registration forms and a data protection consent.
Feel free as well to make any comments on the event generally, your input is really appreciated.
Our next general undergraduate open days for 2011 entry are Tuesday 22 June and Wednesday 22 September 2010 - please add to your diaries.
