Former finalist of The Apprentice (BBC) and Aston alumnus, Alex Wotherspoon, visited the University to launch its fourth successful ‘Enterprise Fest’ which encourages entrepreneurial talent, enterprise and innovation.
The event, organised by the Careers Service, provided over 300 students with an opportunity to meet business experts; Barclays Bank, Graduate Advantage, Make Your Mark and SIFE were just some of the organisations who took part in the event to offer expertise and advice.
Speaking at the event, Alex Wotherspoon, who shares a great passion for business, innovation and entrepreneurial talent, said; ‘I believe if you’re focused on the prize you can achieve fantastic things, set a goal and work to it effectively. My degree from Aston has proved a valuable business tool, which has provided me with new knowledge and a competitive advantage.’
Alex added; ‘‘I truly believe events like Enterprise Fest add value to individuals who participate. The key to success is inspiration, motivation and drive, all of which were provided at this event.’
