Do you have children?
You may recall that the University was involved with a national Childrenswear Sizing Survey last year, with some colleagues bringing children along to be measured on campus. Over 1,400 children have now been measured across the country for the survey.
The next stage of this project, which is designed to to improve the size and fit ofclothing, will be taking place in central Birmingham during February half-term week.
The Shape GB project is jointly sponsored by Next, Monsoon, George at Asda and Shop Direct and is being managed by leading specialists in the area of 3D scanning for sizing surveys, Select Research, who are looking to measure children aged between 4 and 17 years. The body measurements will help the retailers make better fitting clothes and the whole measuring process is comfortable, easy and should take less than 10 minutes.
Measuring appointments are being set up in Birmingham between 13 - 21 February 2010 at The Odeon, 139 New Street, Birmingham B2 4NU.
As a thank you for your time, you will receive at least £10 of vouchers to spend in store at one of the participating retailers.
