Calling all Aston University staff, students and alumni. The Library and Information Services (LIS) is pleased to announce the 'Name the Library competition'.
We need a name that:

is simple yet stands out
-
embodies what the library is and what it offers everyone - students, staff, academics, researchers and practitioners - right across the campus

extends into the future.
Do you know that name? Put on your thinking cap and send in your entry now! Sent your entry to library@aston.ac.uk. Any name submitted that could be considered expletive or discriminatory will not be accepted.

Selection of winner
Once we have a selection of names a voting competition will be held amongst staff and students. The Executive will take the final decision.
Announcement of winner
The winner will be notified via email and telephone. Announcement will also follow in the university’s various communication media.
Claiming of prize
The winner must contact the Library at least 5 working days after the notification email has been sent. The prize will be awarded after verifying the winner’s status with HR or Registry.

Only one entry per person.

All entries must be received by the published entry deadline date. Late and/or incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Claims for prizes must be made in the manner and within the time specified on the Competition Notice. Failure to claim a prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to reply as specified in the notification (and within the time stated) may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

The winner may be required to participate in publicity. Note that by entering into this competition you agree to have your name released as the winner on the Library’s Webpage and in various university communication media.
