Staff and students complete charity 12 hour bench press

Last Month Sport Aston staff together with Aston students completed a 12 hour bench press challenge in aid of Ronald MacDonald house at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

A team of 21 completed a massive 41,468 reps of 50kg. That’s the equivalent of lifting 24 Boeing 747 planes or 172 double-decker buses!

The team have raised over £1,000 so far and are still collecting sponsorship: sponsor the team.

A big thank you to Colin Dent who organised the event and to the rest of the team: Noel, Adam, Chris, Pavandeep, Alex, Alex, Ashley, Kevin, Lawrence, Mark, Paman, Volodymyr, Farhan, Amandeep, Steffen, Olumbine, Dukagjiu, Dave, Godo, Adil and Jack.
