The transformation of Aston Media (incl AV Support) into Media & Learning Technologies is now complete for the start of the academic year.
The signs around the South Wing corridors have all been replaced, references on the CLIPP website amended, new T-shirts delivered and even the logos on the telephones in pool teaching rooms modified! The team formally known as AV Support have also relocated to a new office round the corner to MB 509 to facilitate the redevelopment of MB564 and MB574 into larger flat-floor teaching spaces.
This is more than just a change of name – it signals a cultural shift from what was previously a commercial outward-facing department into one that is clearly focused on the effective deployment of media and technology to enhance learning and teaching within Aston.
