The School of Life & Health Sciences is launching its new ‘Health e-Learning Centre’ (HeLC) this Thursday (12 November), with a series of drop in sessions throughout the day for Aston staff to discover more.
The Centre will offer specialist advice, support and expertise to help develop and adapt e-learning materials, both for student teaching and resources and for future distance learning opportunities.
HeLC will assess the benefits of technology enhanced learning and offer help on everything from using BlackBoard, electronic assessment and feedback, through to creating a complete distance learning course.
The new centre (old pharmacy staffroom MB 5th floor facing main south staircase) will be open on Thursday 12 November with taster sessions from 9am to 10am (with breakfast); 1pm to 2pm (with lunch) and 4pm to 5pm (with tea). No appointment necessary!
