Aston University and Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Lille, now offer students an exceptional opportunity to pursue a Double Masters in the area of European Studies with a vocational focus on the EU.
The design of the programme provides an internationally oriented understanding of European affairs which is enhanced by its mix of both French and British perspectives. Students will spend one year in the UK (Aston) and the second year in France (Lille).
At Aston, the programme aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in contemporary European politics, including its international relations. In the first semester at Institut d’Etudes Politiques students choose from a range of modules on its European Studies fourth-year curriculum, while in the second semester each student is required to enrol in an EU-focused internship, in nearby Brussels.
In the 2009/2010 academic year, Aston Centre for Europe (ACE) will award 3 scholarships covering full UK/EU tuition fees for the first year of studies in Birmingham.
