As part of its sustainability targets, Aston University has a number of strategies and policies aimed at improving campus accessibility, and promoting sustainable transport options for staff, students and visitors.
To develop realistic, workable initiatives and targets, it is vital to gauge the opinions, experiences and aspirations of the University community. This has recently been approached through a series of Transport Surveys, carried out in 2005, 2008 and 2009-10. This seminar/ workshop will present results from the 2009-10 survey, and invite discussion as to where Aston's priorities should be in future years.
A 45-minute presentation of survey findings will be followed by open discussions and debate on how to select, improve and target appropriate initiatives, and what is currently working well.
This is the first opportunity to see the full survey results, and to have your say. If you have an opinion, we want to hear it!
