18 November 2009 at 11am in MB350

Mathematica is a computational software program used in science, engineering, mathematics and other areas of technical computing. (find out more about Mathematica visit Wolfram Research)

The University has a site licence for the software which makes this product available to all staff and students.

Wolfram Research will be visiting Aston University to give staff and students an introduction to Mathematica. A number of breakout sessions will cover particular applications such as financial modelling, medical imaging or game design. If you have a particular interest please contact Karen Newman-Brown or John Williams and we can ask for a session on that topic.
