This event aims to promote the benefits of research in the NHS, showcase local activity and innovations, and outline the bigger picture to help you further understand the range of NIHR resources, funding streams and support now available to you.
The day will include presentations from Dame Professor Sally C. Davies from the Department of Health along with interactive sessions on topics such as Translating Your Research into Practice, Public Involvement in Research, More R&D in Primary Care and Community, and Innovation in the NHS. In addition, there will be an interactive exhibition providing further information about NIHR programmes and coordinating centres.
The conference will be of interest to both NHS staff and academics involved in research.
