Are you potentially the next Bill Gates, Stelios Haji-Ioannou or Anita Roddick? Do you have a great idea that you think could be turned into a business?
All staff and research students are invited to register for “Entrepreneurship Intensive”, a flagship programme supporting the development of entrepreneurship in the University.
"Being an entrepreneur is about taking your ideas and using them to create and deliver value that people will pay for. You can do that in a start-up, or as an ambitious employee, or indeed as a creative academic. Entrepreneurship is as important a quality as it has ever been - perhaps it is even more important in the current economy - and crucially: it can be developed. It's a challenging path, and it's not for everyone, but if you think it could be for you, we invite you to come and find out."
Andy Bass, the consultant leading the programme
Invited guest speakers, current entrepreneurs, a business simulation and an Apprentice-style game contribute to an exciting 9-day programme starting on 21 January and finishing on 31 March.
