Friday 5th June in the Guild Hall
An Eco Fashion Show is taking place in the Students’ Guild today to celebrate World Enviroment Day. If you've always fancied yourself as a bit of a fashion guru or want a beauty masterclass courtesy of The Body Shop then go along and join in the fun!
Line up of events:
2pm: Drop off your clothes for the clothes swap in the Guild Hall
4pm: Clothes swap opens. Get in early to have the best pick of all the clothes and grab yourself a fantastic new outfit! The activities start with a beauty masterclass from The Body Shop and a sewing workshop with tips on making and customising your own clothes
7pm: Catwalk Show: see fellow staff and students strutting their stuff on the runway. Take a look at a range of vintage, reworked and ethical clothing
8pm to 11pm: After show party! The bar opens and a DJ will be playing top tunes! Clothes and jewellery stands will open so you'll get the chance to buy pieces from the catwalk show.
