The Centre for Project Management Practice (CPMP) is offering an un-missable opportunity for you to meet and have lunch with our International Visiting Professor, Blaize Reich, from Simon Fraser University, Canada on 15 October from 12:30 – 2pm.
She will be presenting her views on the ‘impact of knowledge management on project management performance’.
Blaize is a professor of information technology and an internationally respected researcher and speaker. She previously held a prestigious Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Initiative on the New Economy grant to investigate how knowledge-management theory might improve IT project success. She founded and leads the PM Perspectives team as a result of this grant. Blaize won the PMI award for the best Project Management Journal in 2008.
Blaize's research interests include topics in project management and governance of the IT function. For the PM Perspectives team, she led the collection of interview data from project managers in North America and New Zealand. She has also led research into the knowledge risks inherent in IT projects.
