A sandpit is an interactive workshop, an essential element of which is a highly multidisciplinary mix of participants taking part to drive lateral thinking. This session aims to encourage networking within and between the four ARCHA strands in order to promote collaborations and to derive new research questions in ageing.
The four ARCHA strands are:
1 Mechanisms of age-related transitions
2 Development of novel drugs, formulations and tissues to support healthy ageing
3. Ageing lives: the social, psychological and public policy contexts of health behaviour and medicines management
4. Technologies supporting healthy ageing.
