These awards are aimed at giving our staff the opportunity to get involved with our efforts to improve environmental performance and awareness at our University.
You can now sign up on behalf of your department – the sooner you sign up the longer your department will have to complete the workbook and improve your chances of being at the top of the leader board.
The workbook will help you to focus on some of the easy steps you can take to improve sustainability in your department, focusing on actions for energy saving, recycling, paper reduction, etc. This will then be graded and the departments will be ranked against each other – the perfect opportunity to see how you measure up and to get some recognition for your department!

We will be holding our first workshop, which will be aimed at getting everyone started on the workbook and answering any of your questions, on Thursday 14 January. Details will be in next week’s Aspects, so whether you have signed up or not, this will be your opportunity to find out more about the Awards, as well as to check out your competition!
