It is now almost three years since the introduction of Aston's Gender Equality Scheme and we are currently reviewing its impact within the University.
View the Gender Equality Scheme and Action Plan
The aim of the Scheme is to promote gender equality by having due regard to the need to:
- Eliminate unlawful discrimination
- Eliminate unlawful harassment
- Promote equality of opportunity between men and women.
It also aims to eliminate discrimination on the basis of gender reassignment.
The Scheme includes an Action Plan which was informed by the responses to previous questionnaires and focus groups. We would now like to ask you if you think the Gender Equality Scheme has had a positive impact in specific areas and what you think should be our priorities for the next three years.
Please complete the short questionnaire: http://www.survey.bris.ac.uk/aston/gesstaff
It will be open until Friday 19 March.
