Following the successful introduction of the EasySite web publishing system, ISA are now in a position to shut down the previous web system, e-intranet. The e-intranet software will be turned off on Wednesday 2nd September 2009.
All of the web pages on e-intranet were migrated to EasySite in 2008. If you have not yet activated your website on EasySite please contact web.issues@aston.ac.uk to discuss ways in which ISA can help you. To our knowledge there are only 2 areas that have still to be activated.
We are also continuing to run EasySite training courses throughout the summer. To register for a session visit the Staff Development Online Booking system.
Decommissioning the e-intranet system will reduce the number of servers and software that ISA have to manage. This will allow staff to devote more resources to supporting EasySite, helping you to create and maintain an excellent website.
