Staff volunteering fair

The University held a Staff Volunteering Fair on Thursday 9th July, as part of the launch of the new Staff Volunteering Scheme.

20 organisations were represented at the Fair including the Prince's Trust, local hospitals, The Titan Partnership, Barnardos, Age Concern, CSV Environment and many more.

Providing the excellent entertainment and food were the Aston Manor School steel band and representatiives of the "Concrete to Coriander" group.

So far 40 staff have signed up as staff volunteers and will now be matched with appropriate volunteering opportunities by the beginning of next term.
