The Foundation Degree in HE/FE Management and Administration offered by Aston Business School is aimed primarily at people working in HE/FE.
This is a part time qualification that supports development of administrative staff who may not have taken a traditional route through education. The goal of the Foundation Degree is to aid personal development and provide staff with a recognised qualification to improve their skills at work as well as their career progression.
The course is taught over 16 days each academic year, and runs for three years part-time. After the three years, students can choose to graduate with a Foundation Degree, or join the final year of a part-time BSc programme. Therefore, by taking this part-time route, staff can study towards a full Aston degree over five years part-time, alongside their work.
The information session for this Foundation Degree will be held on Tuesday 24th August at 12.30pm in MB118.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Foundation Degree is invited to come along to these sessions. There will be the opportunity to speak to staff currently on the degree, as well as ask any questions they may have.
Light refreshments will be provided. There is no need to register, but anyone wanting to come to the session (or ask any questions beforehand) is welcome to contact Pamela Pinski on ext 3044.
