Thursday 13th August at 11am
It is now over 18 months since Aston introduced its new visual identity. Evidence of the impact it has made can be seen all around the University, from high visibility signage to the prospectuses and website.
However, for people who do not work with the corporate guidelines regularly, they can seem daunting. This session will provide a refresher for colleagues who only deal occasionally with marketing and promotion, and will also be suitable for new staff who are still getting to grips with the guidelines.
The session will cover:
Brand – what it is and is not
Brand hierarchy – the relationships between the main University brand and the sub-areas
The key elements of the corporate guidelines
Putting it all together – the visual identity in practice.
There will also be a substantial Q&A session where the Publications team will provide advice on your design issues.

The session will last approximately 1.5 hours.
