About

The Aston University Research Archive (AURA) is an open access online collection of publications written by Aston academics.

AURA makes Aston's research freely and easily available to everyone, benefiting both our researchers and readers worldwide. Publications stored on AURA can be found by search engines, increasing visibility and making it even easier for people to find our publications.

AURA doesn’t replace traditional publishing and it doesn’t bypass the peer review processes. Anyone can access AURA, though some publications may be subject to restrictions if the content is judged to be commercially sensitive.

AURA uses software called ePrints which captures bibliographic data about each publication and at times full-text.

Bibliographic date is imported in AURA through Pure, a Publication Management Software from Atira.
