Confirmation of Acceptance of Study (CAS)

 
From February 2010, all potential students (from outside the EEA) who are applying to study at the University will require a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Study). Students will need to provide their CAS when applying for a visa through the UK Border Agency.  As a Highly Trusted Sponsor it will be compulsory for Aston to issue a CAS to all UF applicants, via the electronic SMS (Sponsorship Management System).  Students will not be able to use visa letters to apply to the UK Border Agency for a Tier 4 visa once CAS is mandatory.  CAS will be mandatory from 22 February 2010.
